LOGAN As the other two stared in awe at his hands, so too did Logan. He felt incredibly relaxed, his hands extremely warm and tingly. Must be a great power to be the owner of, whilst not an offensive one, saving a life or making it easier, was certainly nothing to stick your nose up at.
He laughed along with Alex as she freaked, shaking his head with a smile. Although she reassured herself by illuminating her own hands. Letting his hands slowly return to normal, Logan turned to Danny, eyeing off that fluttering wing.
"Yes. I absorb the power, and can choose to use it at will. It doesn't stay with me forever, but nothing will happen unless I wish it so." Logan could only imagine what it would feel like sprouting wings. It would damn well hurt, he knew that for a fact. Would be nice to have a go at flying, but Logan was enjoying himself more than enough here on the ground. The mention of eating caused him to nod, a good feed would go down well right now.
Well, now that was all finished, Logan supposed he would leave the pair be. With a tip of his head to Alex, and an extended hand out to Danny, Logan readied himself to leave. First he would put his toy away, have a long shower, and whip himself something up for dinner. He generally didn't like the cafeteria food, and was given permission to use the kitchen whenever he wanted to. Mostly after hours, lest the other kids decided they didn't like the cafeteria food either. [/blockquote]

A shudder crept its way up Alex’s back when Danny mentioned that he had earned himself a spot on Maddie’s bad side. “Maddie Parker? Yeaaa, definitely don’t want to get under her skin. I’m really truly sorry,” as she said this, her expression fell with melancholy and she stepped forward and placed her hand on his shoulder and gave it a pat, offering her condolences, “It was nice knowing ya.” Alex chuckled at her little playful display. But seriously, she knew people who had somehow crossed Maddie Parker and the end result was never very pretty.
At the sound of Danny’s growling stomach, Alex didn’t feel so self-conscious about the offending sound emitted from her gut. “Maybe we should head over to the cafeteria later or something.” The thought made her frown and now she wished she took the opportunity to enjoy a decent meal from outside of Silas. Not that the cafeteria food wasn’t to her tastes, but a break every now and then was always nice.
There seemed to be no end to Danny’s silly jibes and they kept Alex smiling. She hadn’t had very many friends with a good sense of humor and it was refreshing to have something to laugh at constantly. The image of Danny purposely smacking someone with one of his large wings made her chuckle. As the conversation between the three began to wind down, Alex went to collect her belongings. She was hungry and tired and was ready to head back to the main campus. As Logan tipped his head to her, Alex waved with a smile that expressed her gratitude for his help, “It was nice meeting you.” She then looked at Danny, “I’m headed to the cafeteria if you’re still hungry.” With that said, Alex strolled out of the garage and headed back to the main campus.
