I'm going to be gone the 18th-22nd of August, because I am going to the D23 Expo!!! W00T!! Also, I am going to Disneyland the day before(the 19th of August), and I wil be at ElecTRONica that night. I will be wearing the same costume I wore to comic-con, and I will be in Flynn's Arcade most of the night. If you are there, call out "Hey Spark!" and I will respond.
Detail-wise, I'm flying out on the 18th, spending the 19th at Disneyland/Califonia Adventure, going to Tron Day at the Expo on the 20th, hanging out with the family on the 21st, and flying back on the 22nd. It's my first trip on my own!

Okay, I'm back, and here is my report: I had a real blast at Disneyland/California Adventure, particularly since I spent the day hanging out with someone who works at the park - we didn't have to wait in lines. And I had an even bigger blast at the Expo. I didn't get to ask Bruce my question(Why does Rinzler purr?), and Anis Cheurfa(the guy who played Rinzler) wasn't there, so I didn't get to ask him either, but I did ask Cindy Morgan! She said she didn't know, but she was going to try to find out. Also, Bruce remembered me!! He called me by name!!! I asked them both to visit Tron-Sector, and they said that they would(Cindy actually said that she visits there on a relatively regular basis, and Bruce said that he visits on occasion). Both Bruce and Cindy are really nice. And I was really surprised that Bruce remembered me! Pleasantly surprised, but surprised all the same. When I gave him the piece of paper with the Tron-Sector website on it, he said he already visits there on occasion. I just shrugged and told him I was given orders by all of my online friends(i.e. the people from Tron-Sector >_o) to give him the paper. And since I can't seem to hang on to both of my disks(the second one keeps rolling away and I have to go chasing after it), I have to obey the orders. Refusal to follow commands results in deresolution, after all. He laughed and said that I was following orders like a good program. That made me giggle. Cindy said she liked my costume, which was really neat. It's always cool to get complemented on your costume by the actors. Picture-wise, I didn't get to take as many as I would have liked to, but here are a couple neat ones: Me, FlynnOne(someone from Tron-Sector), and a couple of other programs: And these two are worth squeeing over, for me at any rate: {Click the images for full-size pics.} For the rest of my photos, click here!
