As one of the younger students of Silas, Luk is currently undergoing the process of learning how to control his shadow manipulation powers. However, he plans to do so on his own despite the risk of attempting such a feat. Luk's stubborn ways have made him adamant about facing his problems alone. He is yet to learn that accepting help will not always get you burned in the process. Though behind his sheltered walls, he's humorous, witty, and even a tad mischievous. Finally safe from his dictator of a father, he's very outspoken now that he can speak without getting smacked around for doing so. While it's little more structured than he's used to, Silas Academy may be just the place for him to live with his new freedom. Read more HERE
~~FRIENDS~~FRIENDS~~FRIENDS~~FRIENDS~~FRIENDS~~FRIENDS~~ Though Lukan fears the concept of letting people too close, it's difficult to not get along with him in some way due to his outgoing personality. Being a teenager, he truly just wants people to hang out with, not a shoulder to cry on. Some may look to become an older sibling figure for him, and if very patient they could reach said goal. But, In nearly any friendship with Lukan, whether it be an acquaintance or a best friend, walls have to be broken down slowly and with persistence.
~~LOVERS~~LOVERS~~LOVERS~~LOVERS~~LOVERS~~LOVERS~~ Due to a hectic childhood, Luk has never found the time to have a girlfriend or even a crush before. Now that he's in a relatively stable environment, the likelihood of him falling for someone is increasing. But, just like his friendships, the walls he puts around himself play a large role in who he allows himself to get close to. Lukan's crushes would have a tendency to be one sided, for while he'll happily get to know others, he'll just as easily keep them out of his head whether he means to or not. If Luk was to ever have a romantic relationship, he would have to slowly ease his way into it, perhaps starting out as friends and working his way up to admitting his feelings.
~~ENEMIES~~ENEMIES~~ENEMIES~~ENEMIES~~ENEMIES~~ENEMIES~~ Lukan has trouble with over the top authority as he grew up getting pushed around and doesn't want it to happen again. His outspoken nature works against him in such situations, and he'll often become irritable when given orders until he breaks. This being said, he prefers to not befriend too many professors and could make a few enemies out of the bossiest ones. Not to say he isn't capable of making enemies out of students as well. Some may become set off by the way Luk tries to isolate himself, and he also dislikes overly touchy or coddling individuals who don't allow him to solve his own problems. There's a variety of ways to become his enemy, though he takes no pleasure in gaining them.

I wanna post with him!
Danny and Lukan Hm...Danny would like Lukan, because he's outgoing and seems like a good guy. Plus, Danny had a somewhat rough past, and he would want to help Lukan if he ever found out about his past. This seems somewhat unlikely, so he might be some sort of older brother figure that could cheer Luk up, or...something. (He turned 20 when I wasn't looking, and I think he might actually try to be a little more mature.) Damian and Lukan Let's see...I think these two would get along well. On the one hand, the chronic blackouts wouldn't effect Damian, since he can't see the difference anyway. I don't think Damian would try and force Lukan to "share and care," but he would try and help him move on. Last, Damian would sort of understand what it's like to not have the greatest control of his power. Andi and Lukan Honestly, I can't decide if Lukan would like, or absolutely hate Andi. On the one hand, Andi's the control teacher, and secretly a good guy, so he'd honestly be trying to help Luk learn. Unfortunately, a lot of his technique is to push and push until he gets results. He also expects the students to at least pretend they trust him pretty blindly, which might cause some problems too. I dunno...whatever you think.[/blockquote]

Danny & Lukan I agree that they could be friends. And honestly, Lukan is going to be fascinated by Danny's wings XD Kid just joined the school this semester and is still getting used to the abnormalities of both students and professors. And I can see their relationship eventually morphing into a brother like relationship. Danny seems like more of the guy who is loyal to his friends, which Luk likes very much. If they don't become friends, they'll get along at least.
Damian & Lukan All I can see is both of them freaking out with their powers, haha. Maybe they could meet in one of the training rooms? And they could "see" each other sort of flailing with their powers and get to talking. Yet again, another one of those relationships that could either turn into good friends or just acquaintances.
Andi & Lukan I think these two won't get along at all. At least Luk won't like Andi, unsure if the feeling would be mutual. First of all, I think Luk wouldn't like any teacher that was a control teacher, seeing as how he wants to perfect his powers on his own. Lukan also doesn't like getting bossed around at all, and I can see Andi doing just that. These two should definitely thread together. OH! Maybe Andi tries to get Luk to take tutoring lessons of some sort with him because his control is so bad?

Danny and Lukan
Yes! I like it! Danny would probably think Lukan was funny for being fascinated with his wings. He'd also probably love it, though. Damian and Lukan That'd be a good idea. Damian would probably deny he was having trouble at first, though. Unfortunately, it'd be pretty obvious he was lying, so...I think they'll be fun! Andi and Lukan Haha! Excellent! The tutoring sounds like a really good idea, we should go for it.[/blockquote]

LUKAN && MAEVE ,
*cough*maeveistotallyafraidofhim* cough* light and shadow uh? fun! the way i see it, or better, the feeling i get from mae is that she's gonna be like super careful around him, and maybe even a tad suspicious. it might be like a sort of survival instinct or something, given that she's being confronted with her opposite... i think mostly it'll be something irrational, with her not feeling too comfortable whenever she's around him.
other than that i think he's an adorable kid xD

Lukan & Maeve So I have a good idea for them. Seeing as how getting them to interact may be difficult, with Maeve being so weary about him, I say they get paired together on sort of project. That way they're forced to interact. That's all I have so far, but it's a start.

Cayden and Lukan So, we kinda talked about this before. They're both from the same home town, but nobody knew Cayden had powers before he went to Silas. Probably most of Converse still doesn't know. So they wouldn't know each other was "special" until they run into each other at the Academy. Now I don't know whether they'd end up as friends or enemies. Maybe frienemies. You know how they are. But I can see it starting out like it did on Lux with the whole staring thing, but they'd at least talk since they're both from Converse. Let me know if you have other ideas.

Cayden & Lukan I LOVE that idea about the staring contest. It was so strangely cute on Lux. Anyway, I think they could have talked once or twice back in Converse, but they probably wouldn't know much about each other including their powers. Cayden would probably just remember Luk as the kid who dropped out of school unexpectantly. But they'd still have a small memory of each other, just the thing to start the "staring." I think Cayden would start it (like on Lux) and Luk would just sorta be like "o.o ummm... the heck?" at first and sort of weirded out before giving in and staring back. Then things could lead off from there.

Meg & Lukan Meg is the furthest thing from an authoritative teacher so there's a chance she won't drive Luk totally batty. She likes being there for her students and her door is always open if he wants to talk, even if they end up only talking about random, nonsensical things to help distract him from his troubles. She does have a mother bear streak in her that could cause a few problems though. Also, the most interesting part is that Meg is terribly claustrophobic. If she's around when Luk unexpectedly turns out all the lights, I could see the sudden darkness inducing her phobia and possibly giving her a panic attack. Which would make her angry. And then she'd yet at him like he was an idiotic kid brother trying to give her a heart attack.
Matty & Lukan Friends please? Matty loves friends, and the fact that they're only a year apart is great. Because they want the same sort of things out of friendship. Matty wants someone to be a good friend he can hang out with whenever, whether it be skipping class together, checking girls, kicking a ball around, or playing videogames. He would be fascinated by Luk's power even though it'd probably screw with his ability to not teleport into some clutter of objects, and together they'd make a great getaway team. Luk could turn out all the lights and Matty could get them the hell out of there. And then they'd celebrate with stolen goods from the kitchen!

Cayden and Lukan Yeah, I was wondering how those random blackouts in school would have effected Cayden, if at all. There's still a 3 year age difference between them, and I don't know what Lukan's range is for his little shadow puppets.
As for the staring thing, at least Cayden would have a reason this time. He would be all... "hey, I know that guy from somewhere..." and things could start off like that. Cause I think Cayden's nervous about anyone from back home knowing what he can do. He's seen too many horror movies.
