There had been someone in the maze, and when he rounded the corner, Becca's brow arched, her dark chocolate eyes curious. Automatically, her eyes moved down his body before back up to the wolfish grin on his face. He was a cutie, that was for sure. Becca smirked a little. This could prove to be interesting. A large droplet fell from the sky, landing on her cheek, causing her to look up. And here comes the rain... she thought before moving her eyes back to the boy in front of her as he started to speak. So someone else has a death wish, how suprising... Rebecca's brow arched. Death wish? Hardly. A death wish would be someone out here in the maze without knowing where they were going as a storm was about to begin. You aren't afraid of the lightning and thunder? I've heard Silas has its fair share of deadly storms. Wouldn't want you to be added to the list of victims. Rebecca laughed softly. Oh, this would prove to be interesting indeed.
Now, why would I be afraid of a little bit of thunder and lightning? That would be silly... Especially since I know my way through here. she said, motioning to the maze. Her brown eyes were full of mischeif, like always. She was a wild child, and she wasn't afraid of anything. Rain started to pour at that moment, a loud clash of thunder causing her to pull her eyes away from the boy in front of her and up to the sky again, squinting against the pounding rain that already had her wavy hair drenched. The water ran down her leather coat, keeping her shirt dry, but soaking her jeans. Well... Her new white VANs were going to be ruined. Oh well, that was the least of her worries right now. What about you? You don't seem very afraid of the storm, why are you out here? as she said this, she started to walk backwards. No, Becca didn't mind the rain, but she didn't want to come down with pneumonia or something. That would be bad.
Rebecca's dark eyes stayed locked on the boy as she continued to walk backwards, a playful smirk dancing on her lips as she round a corner that wouldn't take them out of the maze, but deeper into it. She was testing him almost. She wanted to see if he was like the other boys that would just stand there in suprise with their jaw on the floor, or if he would actually follow her. Most would say she was crazy and try to find their way out. Maybe she was a little crazy, wanting to stay out in the maze during this thunder storm. Lightning lit up the darkened sky, flashing in her eyes as she walked down an aisle of the maze, glancing back over her shoulder to see if he was following. | [atrb=width,140]words ,490 tagged ,seth turner notes ,outfit! | [cs=2] |

. so i go insane like i always do AND I CALL YOUR NAME, SHES A LOT LIKE YOU
When he'd first been through the maze he'd done it just for the chance of getting lost; and he had gotten lost, the first time around. There was some strange thrill in not knowing where you were and who was around. Yet like any other momentary interest Seth had, it disappeared quickly. Left with the same inescapable boredom, he still found himself coming to the maze. It was like some odd second home, with each turn taking him further away from his problems. They caught up quickly though and he was left sitting alone, dealing with the demons that chased him through the maze. Finding his way out wasn't hard, but sometimes he chose to stay there, secluded and safe from himself, the way he would act if someone else was around.
The coming storm was an added bonus. He walked along the path, eyes locked on the overcast sky that warned everyone they should be inside. He'd never heeded warnings, even ones meant to keep him safe. There wasn't any thrill in being safe. Safety didn't interest Seth. Maybe the maze no longer offered him excitement, but out here with the rain and the thunder and the lightning, it promised so much more than it usually did. His power burned in his veins, begging to be used, begging for some kind of sustenance. Ignoring the need and the pain was pointless, it always came back, tugging at his thoughts. Impossible to ignore. It had only been a day since he'd absorbed a power, a medium's power. It had haunted him for only a couple of hours before returning to its rightful owner, Jackie. She had been an interesting one, able to capture his interest and keep it. Still her power had returned to her and he'd been left empty, like every time before. It was a bitter thought but one that Seth had learned to deal with.
Someone else was in the maze. He couldn't hear or see them but he could feel the pain inside him shift, seeking out the current of power that was drenched in the air around them. Another student preferably. A professor could pose a problem, but one that he was prepared to deal with should the need arise. Following the flow of power was simple, he let his own power guide him to the person. He stopped just at the edge of a turn, knowing the other person was just beyond. Another person out in the storm threat. It had to be a student. He wasn't disappointed as he rounded the corner, coming face to face with a girl that looked to be around his age. He grinned at her, a wolfish smile that stretched across his face and showed the points of his canine teeth. With the darkening sky overhead, he was sure she would be at least a little scared, everyone else always was. Except Jackie, the thought was a lingering one that he brushed aside. "So someone else has a death wish, how surprising. He stepped forward, watching her with a raise eyebrow. "You aren't afraid of the lightning and thunder? I've heard Silas has its fair share of deadly storms. Wouldn't want you to be added to the list of victims."
