A father and widower at nineteen, Walker's life pretty much rotates around his three year old son Toby. This has its good points and its bad, but Walker is mostly blind to them. He insists he's been a little distracted by the strange man following him around, convinced Walker's son could be very valuable to the right people and is willing to do anything to get him. Walker was one of those people that made friends with everyone he could get his hands on. Until his wife died and he took his son on the run. Now he tends to be suspicious of people when he first meets them, and can't help but suspect they have ulterior motives. He hopes it will be easier at Silas, around people like him - since he's never really shaken that "be friends with me!" habit. Toby likes everyone and he will insist on being your friend whether you like it or not. It scares Walker, but Toby’s still a little too young to pick up on that and still charges full-force into those situations. It takes a lot to get Walker worked up when it's just something between himself and one other person, and so he doesn’t usually have a lot of enemies. His temper is even, and he's often too tired to put in the effort to get mad at anything that isn't really bad. However, the slightest insult or threat to Toby will set him off and he can be scary if he needs to. If someone were to do that, then it would take an awful lot to get back on his good side. (He would say it was an impossible task, but that's not quite true.) Lastly, where love is involved, Walker isn’t really looking. He had his fairy tale romance, it didn't end the way he would have liked, and he misses her. Now he sorta feels like he's got bigger things to worry about. - Of course, that doesn't mean he can't be won over by the right woman. It would take a very patient, and very dedicated woman. She'd also have to like kids, because Toby's cute and Walker's not going anywhere without him.

Andi's history wasn't really remarkable - he was adopted by a family from Broughton-in-Furness in England. The town was a small one in the mountains up above the ocean, and it wasn't long before he got stir crazy and resolved to move out at the first chance. He spent a lot of time travelling around Europe, and then America, before stumbling on Silas. Andi's life doesn’t revolve around making people be his friends, so he tends to just let people make their own call. Generally, he’s the kind of guy you're probably going to either think is really funny, or really irritating – and that’s fine with him. Every joke, strange thing, and prank he does is done solely for the sake of entertaining himself. If you like those kinds of joke, and have a thick skin, then Andi's happy to be your friend. Much like with his friends, Andi leaves the decision to be an enemy mostly to the other person. He'll tease, prank and joke, and depending your reaction, you'll be categorized. That being said, he is a little more biting with people he doesn't like. If he even acknowledges your existence. Andi isn't really a gushy romantic. He thinks love is a great idea, and he hopes to find the right woman some day, but he's willing to wait for it to come. Once he has it, he's going to be the type of guy to guard it somewhat jealously. He'll insist on taking care of the woman, and wouldn't like to see her getting too friendly with other guys. (Not that he'd jump on her or the guy, but it'd make him a lot more irritable.)

Damian is quiet and tends to look for the same quality in friends. He doesn't usually like people that make too much noise, because then he has trouble sorting out what's going on around him. That being said, he wouldn't immediately dislike a noisy person - it would mostly depend on how the person presented himself. He’s a nice guy and generally agreeable, so I think he would get along with most people, but only have a few close friends. Anyone who wanted to be Damian’s friend must be alright with a shadow, because that’s more or less what they’d be getting. Being alone begins to cause paranoia in Damian, though he can't remember what he's scared will happen. Not really one to make enemies, Damian would absolutely refuse to go into a room with someone who was honestly nothing more than a jerk. The more evil the person, the more adamantly he'll avoid them. He's not sure what would happen if forced into a corner by one of these kinds of people, only that it would be ugly. Lastly, Damian doesn’t really expect girls to fall in love with him - he's pretty scarred up, blind, and can't walk right. Because of that he'd have trouble not wondering if any dates that were offered were out of pity, or if the girl really lied him. Really, though, what he needs is an honest love from someone outside his family.

Danny is an enormous goober. It's very rare that he isn't in a good mood, and even when he's not, he doesn't like to let it show. He’d much rather smile and joke until he gets someone else to smile to cheer himself up. He had a hard childhood being bounced around the foster system, but he’s got a good house now and he tries not to let anyone know about the bad spots. A few years have passed since he arrived at Silas, and he's very comfortable being around gifted people now. Danny makes friends with people almost as soon as he meets them. He goes into every new meeting with the mindset that he and the person will be friends. It's hard for him to stop thinking of people as friends, but doesn't take much for him to go from thinking of an ex-friend as a friend again. Nor does he particularly care what the other person thinks – if you don’t like him, he’ll do his very best to change that. Because of this, it’s unlikely he’ll have very many enemies. If someone manages to work his way on to Danny's bad side - or Danny onto the other's - Danny will generally handle it by pretending the other doesn't exist. He isn't really one to pick fights, though he wouldn't back down from one either, so he finds it easier to avoid the temptation. He doesn't usually realize when he's being irritating or going too far with a joke, so there have been times when he's made an enemy without even knowing why. Danny’s not really one for serious dating. He grew up being shuffled from house to house, so he didn't even really have the time for dating until he got to Silas. By then, he really wasn't used to that, so he hasn't had many girlfriends. It doesn’t help that his gooberness makes him pretty oblivious. If anyone were to show interest in him, they'd basically have to spell it out before he realized. Even then, it might take a bit of a struggle to get him to accept it completely, as his total lack of a stable, loving figure for most of his life has made the idea of being or having that very uncomfortable to him.
