 DANIEL[/color] GREGORY[/color] ASHFORD[/color][/font] TWENTY&INTROVERTED[/color] fire manipulator[/font][/center] Daniel is the quiet type, and likes solitude. He's very introverted, and tends to think about things entirely too much. Of course, sitting back and letting others do the talking allows him to observe quietly which is something he excels at. Daniel fears his abilities to a certain extent. He has a great deal of sympathy for people, and he will do whatever is necessary to keep his abilities in check. He's the type of guy who would give you the shirt off of his back, even though he doesn't have much to give.
Daniel is extremely polite, even in the most extreme situations. He was not only raised this way, but he believes that manners can go a long way to avoiding conflicts and misunderstandings. He likes to be romantic, even though he gets teased for it. This doesn't, however, mean that he has no sense of humor. Daniel has precious few reasons to smile. Therefore, he does so as often as possible, taking joy in small things. When you get down to it, he's just a good guy who had a difficult life, and who is in an uncomfortable situation with Professor Miller.
This means he will be keeping an eye out for any students with certain powers including healing, empathy, teleportation, precognition, blood manipulation, absorption, adaptation, density manipulation, force field creation, phasing, or water manipulation... among a few others that he thinks might be useful to Professor Miller.

This would work for Charlie because she's had a rough life, and it's nice for her to have friends she can talk to, and just let her emotions out. With Daniel being a listener rather than a talker, it would work even better.

Charlie does the same thing in a sense. She doesn't have much of anything to offer anybody, but she tries her best to help others, just because that's the kind of person she is.

Charlie doesn't have much to be proud of, since she was kind of a "whore" (XD) and a criminal in her past. However, someone in her past introduced a whole her perspective of life to her, and she figured "why the heck not?" Now she basically appreciates the litter things in life more than she did in her past.

DANIEL & CHARLOTTE [/color][/font] I think that could work out quite well. Daniel was raised in a foster home for half his life, so he's used to a bit of a tougher crowd anyway, though he tries to repress those memories. At the same time, he wouldn't judge her and would be happy for her since she's trying to be a better person. If she ever needed someone to talk to or open up to, Daniel's great for that. (Come to think of it, that's probably why Professor Miller chose him out as a spy. >.>) I think they could definitely be friends. I can always start a thread if you want. [/blockquote] |

DANIEL & REN [/color][/font] Ren has water manipulation and he has fire so that's an interesting combination in itself. Plus he's looking out for certain powers and she has one of those certain powers he could possibly feel like he has to befriend Ren and learn more about her. Here at Silas she kind of keeps her Dad's profession quiet and doesn't let anyone know that she's in fact a movie producers daughter, so she's a little secretive sticking to airheaded topics of the latest movies and fashion and when the last time she went scuba diving. Maybe they get into an altercation cause he's trying to pry to "actually" figure out how to take her in for Professor Miller but she thinks he's becoming a stalker and they end up in a water and fire fight? The possibilities are endless. So let me know what you think and we'll hash this out and get to threading soon. =][/blockquote] |

DANIEL & REN [/color][/font] Well, I think Daniel is a bit too polite to pry TOO much, but he'd definitely seek her out and attempt to befriend her. Even if he didn't become friends with her (as they seem like they'd be in a bit of a different clique), he'd still try to learn about her, whether by asking her, doing research in his on his own time, or asking her friends. Honestly, I see him as a really hard person to dislike, which he does on purpose, so I'm trying to come up with ways she'd be mad enough to use her abilities on him. Maybe she finds out that he asked one of her friends about her? I'm open for more ideas, but I definitely see her fitting in nicely with the cure plot.[/blockquote] |

Okie, yeah she'd probably attack first or confront him. They probably wouldn't fight but she'd have some nice words to say to him about him trying to go ask her friends about her. Sounds like fun. Maybe at the end they could be friends. Or at first she just says a quick hey to him and that's as far as they go as friends.
But about the cure part how does that work? Are they "taking" kids by force or do the kids go willingly? I never figured that out from the plot.

DANIEL & REN [/color][/font] I honestly don't know if Daniel is being instructed to "take" the students by force or not... but I know he'd try to be nice about it despite how desperate Professor Miller is. It's hard to plan that kind of thing without someone playing him who can say, "No, he'd order you to do this." For now, I'm going to assume that Daniel is on an information gathering mission, learning what he can and relating it back to Prof. Miller who will then come up with the next move. So them being friends isn't out of the realm of possibility at all. I mean, I can see him asking one of her friends about her, her getting mad and confronting Daniel about it, and Daniel doing something to talk his way out of it. He really, really hates conflict because his powers get a little out of whack when he's under pressure... so that could lead to something as well. He could accidentally do something that she perceives as an attack and a fight could start that way. Of course, for thread purposes, the asking the friend part would be npc, so we could go right into a confrontation thread if you wanted. [/blockquote] |

But... there's a good chance she'll find some reason that he gets under her skin as well. ^^;; DANIEL & MAXWELL[/color][/font] Got absolutely nothing for this one. Though Max would probably like him since he sounds like he'll be well behaved in class. ;p DANIEL & MEGAN[/color][/font] Megan is precognitive, and ze art teacher. xD She's also loud, a bit too informal for a teacher, loves to have a good time, and most likely going to be at odds with Prof. Miller. She's not all that fond of quiet people. They... unnerve her; she thinks they need to learn how to loosen up. So if Daniel ends up in one of her classes, unease?[/blockquote] |

He strongly dislikes being manipulated in any way, so I see any encounter between these two ending badly. *cough* He would end up getting mad and trying to hold it back... which would most likely result in something catching on fire. Quiet, attentive, loves to learn, and isn't afraid to ask questions (after making sure that it's the appropriate time to do so). But since Daniel is also observant, he might notice Max's sadness and try to do something to help, or at least offer friendship in some way. [/blockquote] DANIEL & MEGAN [/color][/font] Ahahaha! This idea cracks me up. I can see Daniel being in her class (he loves art) and being completely bewildered by her personality and outgoing nature. The site plot with Prof. Miller would make taking her class interesting. I can see not only unease, but a lot of internal conflict for Daniel as well... like he'd have to choose. Now, I can see Megan getting annoyed with Daniel because he's so quiet, but I also see him learning to loosen up a bit from her in return, so what we do with that is up to you. [/blockquote] |

DANIEL & ALEX [/color][/font] This could get pretty interesting. Alex is Serinity's roommate and future friend AND is also a healer. So maybe Daniel could learn of Alex's power through Rini/ Alex and Daniel could meet through her. Since Alex's power would be of particular interest for "the cure," Daniel might feel conflicted since she is Rini's roommate and friend. (that part of course, is totally up to you). The fact that Daniel manipulates fire would already put Alex on edge. Fire is one of Alex's worst fears, mostly just because she's seen so many gruesome burn injuries and can see how painful it is in the people she heals. Alex would probably be very careful and guarded around Daniel at first, but if she gets wind that he doesn't have very good control over his power, Alex would probably do her best to avoid him at all costs. I would actually like the idea of Vincent catching onto what Daniel is up to and getting involved with trying to protect the students, but also trying to help Dan get out of the whole mess without directly forcing him, instead trying to find more options as to what Dan could do about the situation of "The Cure"

Not to mention he and Alex would be bound to run into each other on occasion. Poor Daniel is going to be so screwed up in the head when I get done with him. >.< As for Alex's fear of his ability, it'll be something that he expects since he fears it himself. He wouldn't take offense to it at all, and would actually think Alex is smart for being afraid. Still, I think the entire situation with them basically being forced into proximity with each other could prove for some interesting threads.[/blockquote] DANIEL & VINCENT [/color][/font] I really like that idea. We can't really get a start on the cure plot without someone picking up Professor Miller, but when we get someone, Daniel will be under more and more pressure to look for those certain abilities and it'll most likely get noticeable that something is wrong. With how observant Vincent is, it would be pretty easy for him to pick up on. So Daniel will be looking for a way out of that situation already. Considering that she has the phasing power and she is sweet and small, making it a little easy. Well, she can still phase through people and solid objects but they could always knock her out before taking her.[/blockquote] DANIEL & SHILOH [/color][/font] Maybe Shiloh should be kidnapped too?
