Usually Maeve does the trick. Anyway, Maeve here was born in London, but moved to Vermont once she found out about her powers. Speaking of which, Maeve's power is light manipulation, meaning that she can create and control light at will. She's also able to do some more stuff and she's trying to learn even more, but she won't tell you about it.
the friends. Well, Maeve is quite a friendly person. Quiet as hell, but friendly nonetheless. It's not that she is shy, but she simply doesn't like to talk much. Maeve is as loyal as they come, seriously, she'll do anything to protect those she cares about. She has this tendency to trust people too easily, and she's quick to open up to someone. If you do get to know her, though, you'll see that Maeve, even though she's quiet, loves to have fun. Just don't mind her morbid sense of humor, if you please. Friend wise, I think she's the kind of girl to have plenty of friends, but only a couple of really good friends.
the lovers. When it comes to lovers, Maeve is contempt with the occasional fling and one night stand. She isn't the most romantic of persons, and even when she tries, she can't seem to be able to keep a relationship for more than a month. It's seems that when things start to get serious, she bails. Afraid of commitment much? One day, maybe I'll request a final for her, someone to make her see love isn't that bad after all, but right now, flings and one night stands are more than welcome. Exes too, I'm thinking she'll have quite a few, both in bad and in good terms. Friends with benefits also sound cool ^^,
the enemies. Maeve isn't one to start a fight, but she sure as hell will end one. She tends to hold grudges, and doesn't let things go very easily. If you happen to cross her or do any harm to those she cares about, you'll have an enemy for life. Other than that, Maeve is quite peaceful, and won't strike unless she's provoked. Just make sure you don't provoke her okay?
the others. well, crazy ideas are always good, so if you have something in mind, let me know.

MAEVE x DANIEL [/color][/font][/center] Now, I don't really have any solid ideas for a relationship here, other than that they could be friends. I just knew that with our respective play-bys, I had to post in here and see what you thought. We do have the fact that they were both born in England, which could provide a starting point for a friendship if you wanted. Let me know what you think.

[/color] i think daniel and maeve would work pretty well as friends. they're quite alike in some ways, not to mention they're both from england and the same age. of course that with daniel being introverted, maeve would probably the chatty one of the pair. also, i can see her sorta trying to get daniel to loosen up a bit more, try being the key word here xP feel free to add/change/delete whatever

So since I'm in love with Emma, I have decided Spencer is going to crush hard on Maeve. He's the sweet romantic type so that in general probably wouldn't go over well with Maeve in the long run, but other than that I think they'd both make pretty good friends. They both like music and photograpy (Spencer's pretty art-y in general). Plus she's gorgeous, I can see Spencer letting himself fall for her pretty quickly. Any chance Maeve needs help in school? Otherwise maybe they can be study buddies, or partners in some class?
If it progresses, I'd be content to keep him in some almost-bitter, unrequited love phase and perhaps he makes a move and get shot down and is wonderfully heartbroken. Or alternatively, something happens between them but Maeve is like "no way, commitment" or "no way, he likes me too much" and Spencer is, yes, wonderfully heartbroken, etc etc. I dunno! Do you care for either of these ideas or have anything to add of your own?

[/color] i love that idea xD i think the two of them could probably have started as study buddies, and then became friends. if spencer starts to fall for her, maeve, being maeve, wouldn't really notice it until he actually confessed or something. and then there would be this amazing awkward silent moment and she'd be like "aah... thank you. the thing is... i don't really feel the same so... yeah" awkward maeve is awkward. and then they could remain as friends or something.
or they could actually date for some time, with maeve thinking it won't really be anything serious, but with him being all romantic and stuff she'd probably get scared and dump him. and that would guarantee a whole new level of awkwardness xP
either way really, i think it will be fun. it all depends on what you'd like to do ^^,
random thought: maybe he asks her to go to the masquerade ball with him?

MAEVE x JASMINE [/color][/font][/center] I think Jasmine and Maeve would make good friends. Jasmine is much more outgoing than Maeve is, but she'd be attracted to Maeve's calm demeanor. She also wouldn't be offended by a morbid sense of humor at all. She'd find it refreshing. As an added bonus, Jasmine can be there for Maeve when her emotions finally get the better of her. Actually, I'm sort of fishing for plots that would make Jasmine exercise her powers more, and this might be just the thing. I'm thinking that after they develop a friendship, Maeve might break down a little, and when Jasmine is trying to comfort her is when she realizes that she can project her emotions onto others (with much effort and practice). On a side note, she could possibly feel Spencer's feelings toward Maeve and try to interfere like normal.

[/color] i think that's a great idea! maeve doesn't really like to relay much on her emotions cause you know, they're annoying, and so she ends up bottling things up xP at this point i'm making her a bit homesick but wanting to stay at silas nonetheless cause that's what she feels it's best for her... what crossed my mind when you mentioned the break down, was that maybe the two of them are together doing whatever and maeve gets a call from her mother (probably saying that her grandmother his dead or something xD) which would be a severe emotional overload for her, thus causing a panic attack. jasmine to the rescue!
(the other option is that they are faced with a clown parade, but that sounds too ridiculous)
and lol, that'd be awesome "spencer is what? nah, no way" "maeve dear, who's the empath here?"

Perfect! Also with the Jasmine thing haha. :D Is the Masquerade Ball something that's coming up? I kinda derped around the site but couldn't find a thread about it. Either way, sounds good! Regarding which fork the plot goes down, we could just see what things are like when we're threading. Character chemistry, how bored you are with Maeve's love life, etc, haha.
Would you like to thread? I could start it, maybe just a regular ol' study meetup/hang out session? I dunno what type of classes Maeve would be taking.

yeah, a thread sounds nice xP maeve is taking Geometry, Graphic Design, Art & Symbolism, Drawing & Painting II, Control II, Strategy & Defense, Martial Arts and Fencing. how funny would it be if they didn't have any classes in common?

Ahahaha, that would make it even more obvious that Spence is just grasping at straws for reasons to hang out with her. We could do that, if you like, otherwise there's a few in that list that would work out. Gotta run now, I'll have the thread up later tonight/tomorrow.

Alright, so, as we discussed I think these two would be good together, friends-wise. Shia is super quiet herself, so it will probably be a bit awkward getting them started, but they have some similarities that I think would work well. Also, Shia being new, she'd be so happy to have an older gal to look after her and tell her whatever it is she should know about the place. So expect Shia to kinda look up to Maeve, kinda older-sister-ish almost, huh?
Also there are a few people you plot with that my character may need some connection to as well and might meet through your gal? I'll be making notes on their plot pages as well! ^^ What do ya think?

so, if shia's new, i can see maeve maybe seeing her with a lost look on her face and volunteering to help her, or show her around school or something. maeve, being maeve, would probably try to put her quiet demeanor for the sake of making some conversation, and what could start as an awkward small talk might evolve to a more interesting conversation, with the two of them finding to have more in common than they expected.
also, maeve wouldn't really mind if shia looked up to her, and she would probably treat her sort of like a younger sister, especially given that she sees a lot of her in shia. so, yeah, i think they'd be great. and maeve acting as the connection between shia and other charries would probably work as well, because maeve would think she could introduce shia to some of her friends.
anyway, we must thread ^^,
