Yumi’s past is dark and sad, bitter and scary.Once a happy Japanese girl in Tokyo with her drunkard of a mother. She didn’t know at the time that she had a wise daughter but Yumi’s mother loved her but was usually to intoxicated to care. But when a a use to be first grader leaps to the fifth grade and then leaps to seventh grade wasn’t good ….well at least for Yumi. A man came to her house when she was working homework. The man bargained with her mother for Yumi like she was a animal waiting to be adopted. But her mother refused and the man strangled her mother to death took Yumi and forced her into these mathematics competitions and other scholarly events. Yumi hated this for as long as she was little to a teenage. Then one day she refused the man whipped her back with a hot rusty chain. Cuasing the scars on her shoulders and back she never refused. But what furiosed her most was when she got home one day she saw in her Owner meeting room that there was rose and rose of men standing there and bidding on the price to be Yumi’s husband. Felt treated like a animal Yumi ran away from that home and she kept running and she was able to sneak on a plane with the help of a kind man that was on a trip to Tokyo his name was Morde.An then he told her of a place he works and all about how there is other people like her there. She was overjoyed but bitter by the thought of the men bidding on her back at her house. She grudgingly agreed to go with him.
