Brief Summary:Lillian Palmer is the type of person who commands respect from anyone she meets. She is excellent at looking and acting the part of assiduous Headmistress in charge of gifted children who have the capability of getting into a lot of trouble. While most may view her as the stern Headmistress, Lillian is actually the caring type who is truly concerned about the wellbeing of her students and faculty. True, she is sometimes a stickler and stern in her ways, but it could never be said that Lillian Palmer didn’t give a crap about Silas Academy.
When it comes to teaching her students, the Headmistress strives to ensure that each one of them passes to the best of their abilities. She would never allow a student to fall by the wayside and is always available to those who need her. Due to this, Lillian does expect a lot from her students and is willing to push them if she needs to. It pleases her to see everyone at Silas do well. Most students see her as being strict, but all should know she will help them no matter what. If you respect her, she will always respect you in turn.
To her faculty, Lillian has the same policy about respect. Those who deserve it - get it; those who give it - get it. Always willing to lend a hand, Professor Palmer is a little more relaxed with her staff. She is allowed to be more of herself and less of a role model to impressionable young students. When her Headmistress side is down, Lillian can be funny and lighthearted. However, the stress and troubles of Silas Academy are always weighing upon her. She deals with it as best as she can.
On her relationship with Serinity, Lillian wishes she could be there for her granddaughter like she never was there for her daughter. It kills her to have pushed both her Lily Ann and Serinity away. She wishes desperately to fix her relationship with Serinity, but is unsure of how to go about it. Since Serinity is all she has left, Lillian wants to keep her as close as possible.
