Academy Rules »
- Students are between 14 and 22 years of age.
- The Academy’s curfew is at 10:30. Students found outside of their dorms after that time will be given detention. The more the problem persists, the harsher the punishments become.
- Students are allowed to have pets. Children 14 years old are allowed to have fish, lizards, or other small and manageable pets. Students 15 years and older may own one horse, cat, dog, or other pet. Those that are 17 years and older may have a horse and either a cat, dog, or other pet.
- Professors may have as many animals as they are capable of taking care of.
- Breakfast beings at 6:30 am and runs until 10 am. Lunch begins at 11:30 am and lasts until 4 pm. Dinner starts at 5:30 pm and will run until 8 pm.
- Classes run from Monday to Friday with hours falling between 8 am to 7 pm. Classes last for 2 hours and begin on the hour.
- Students must take a minimum of 4 classes per semester. They may take up to 6 classes per semester. With a professor's written permission, a student may take a full maximum of 8 classes.
- Professors are allowed to have their own cars. Students 16 years and older may have their own cars. A student must be at least 16 years of age to drive a car. Those who are 15 years of age should enlist in the Driver's Ed course.
- Students under the age of 17 must have a chaperon to visit Willowbrook. Anyone older than 17 may go on their own.
- An old Irish Wolfhound has made Silas Academy its home for years. The students and professors alike keep this dog well fed and looked after. Everyone calls him Old Jack. Feel free to add him to a post of yours.
