Kane stood frowning at the whiteboard that hung across the length of the classroom's back wall. He had left the classroom with a pretty classic setup, rows of desks facing his desk at the front of the classroom. (Where his desk was didn't really matter, he didn't usually spend much time sitting down anyway.) The whiteboard was the only thing that was causing him any sort of trouble. He wasn't sure he wanted the board - he usually just wrote on the air anyway. Maybe he could remove it... Frowning, Kane stepped back and examined the wall. The board blinked suddenly out of existence, leaving a blank white wall in its place.
...That just looked stupid.
Frustrated, Kane threw up his hands, letting the Illusion fall away to reveal the board still hanging in place. Whatever, he thought irritably. I'll just hang things on it anyway. Besides, he had a class about to start and it wouldn't do to be obsessing over the stupid board the whole time he was trying to teach. If he wasn't paying attention to his illusions, things tended to get weird. He'd once accidentally sent an elephant charging through the classroom, and then needed twenty minutes to calm the students down. So, pushing the board out of his mind, he dropped into his seat, propped his feat on the desk, and waited for students to arrive.
